We work with organisations, businesses and individuals who need to meet sustainability related requirements.

After an initial meeting to discuss your needs we discuss various options and make recommendations. We can also help you establish links with stakeholders, bid for funding or work, implement solutions and evaluate projects.

Mark Browne can draw upon over 10 years experience of sustainable development, including recent experience working with:

  • a client which has restored a 240 year old school house for community use - we evaluated it from a heritage point of view.
  • the Smart ECO Hub, a group of 100 green-tech firms working across the Irish border.
  • the renewables sector to respond to a government consultation on renewable incentives.
  • a Northern Ireland firm assisting them to apply for and win EU funding.
  • a solar energy firm to provide Solar PV surveys and configuration.
  • a renewable energy firm bidding for work with a council in England.
  • the Construction Employers Federation on a variety of environmental issues for its members.

Environmental Management

Environmental Management System (EMS) accreditation is becoming more important to satisfy client requirements or to win work.

We are experienced in helping firms to put environmental management systems in place. Mark Browne also ran two EMS training programmes at the Construction Employers Federation.

Key Benefits of an EMS:

  • helps you pre-qualify and win more work.
  • improves your firm's image
  • helps you to focus on ways to save money and waste
  • reduces the risk of being prosecuted by your environmental regulator for non-compliance.
